For more than a decade, our community worshipped in small, borrowed rooms — always temporary, always limited. Our children grew. Our families grew. Our needs grew.
And in 2023, Allah gave us a miracle: We purchased our very first building — a home to finally become our masjid.
But one crucial step remains before we can open our doors.
The Parking Lot Requirement
Because our building is located in a commercial zone, the City of Chicago requires us to secure adequate parking to operate as a masjid.

Permit. Without it, our beautiful building must remain
